FBOMT Invites You to Participate in a Rules Workshop

The Florida Board of Massage Therapy requests your participation in a rules workshop to address the future of massage therapy education. The workshop will occur on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, beginning at 12:00 pm EST during the Florida Board of Massage Therapy’s Board meeting at the Embassy Suites Orlando – Lake Buena Vista South, 4955 Kyngs Heath Road in Orlando, Florida.

The Board determined that the rule regarding the minimum requirements for board approved massage schools needed review to:

  • Compare requirements for both public and private institutions
  • Update and clarify training requirements

Your comments and interaction are welcomed. Many of you are engaged in very creative and innovative efforts that make our state shine on the national stage of massage therapy and health care professions.
